the year.
INTRO-INT. LEVEL BALLET

We do a complete ballet barre, floor stretch with added abdominal strengthening exercises, and a center practice. We introduce pirouettes, jumps, and across the floor dance patterns, to give dancers a real opportunity to experience ballet movement. The class runs until 9:00.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED

Pointe work is offered as part of Wednesday Ballet 5 class for people of that level. Beginning pointe is offered Friday at 5, and Intermediate pointe Friday at 6.
If you've never done pointe, permission of the director is required.
Youth dancers will be considered for pointe in level 4, but only when they are ready, and never before age 11.
ADULT TUITION
OUR TEN CLASS CARD IS: $105.00
SINGLE CLASS IS: $14.00
OUR SPECIAL DANCE
FLOOR
We have a sprung floor built on rubber cushions and surfaced with a marley dance vinyl for optimum traction, safety and ease of movement. The surface is neither slippery nor sticky, and has no splinters. The subfloor is gently springy, making landings easier and reducing both stress and fatigue. We aim for dancing to be enjoyable, not stressful.
HOW TO DRESS FOR
CLASS
Most women dancers wear solid color leotards and tights. Some dancers wear stretch pants and t shirts or other flexible, comfortable attire. Men wear heavyweight men's tights, and either a leotard or t-shirt, or shorts or sweats. Ballet slippers are worn by both men and women.
